Dubai hotel ranks first in world’s most beautiful five-star properties list

The list was compiled by analysing Instagram hashtags associated with luxury properties

A new survey by has revealed that Dubai’s iconic sail-shaped property is the most beautiful five-star hotel in the world.

The list was compiled using Instagram data. According to, more than 10 million Instagram hashtags associated with the world’s five-star hotels were taken into account. The properties with the most Instagram hashtags were then ranked from highest to lowest to create the list.

The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah racked up a total of 2,428,501 Instagram hashtags.


Second on the global list is the Maldives-based Soneva Jani with 415,461 hashtags, followed by Las Vegas’ Bellagio in third with 161,088 Instagram hashtags

Looking at the region, Dubai is home to eight of the most beautiful hotels in the Middle East. They are the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah,  Palazzo Versace, Jumeirah Al Naseem, Taj Dubai, Park Hyatt Dubai, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort, Waldorf Astoria Dubai and W Dubai – The Palm.
