The Family Vacation Guide gave the emirate a family safety rating of 6.76/10
Dubai has been ranked seventh in the world’s top 10 safest family-friendly vacation destinations, according to new research.
The newly released data compiled by The Family Vacation Guide looked at a range of variables such as overall safety, family-friendly accommodation options, child-friendly restaurants and family-focused activities across several global destinations to reveal the world’s best family vacation spots.
According to the research, Dubai scored a family safety rating of 6.76/10. Of the city’s hotels, more than 23% are family-friendly hotels, 18% of Dubai’s restaurants are child-friendly and more than 30% of the emirate’s activities and attractions are child-friendly.

The research has also revealed the best vacation destinations for each category.
For family-friendly accommodation, Orlando, Florida in the US came top with 59% family-friendly hotels in the city.
The best destination for family-friendly dining was Florence, Italy with 48% of restaurants suitable for children.
The best location for family-friendly activities was Pattaya, Thailand with 36% of activities suitable for kids.
In April, Dubai was named the world’s number one destination for family holidays in a survey by travel insurance comparison site InsureMyTrip. The city was given a rating of 7.42 out of 10, followed by Colombo, Turks & Caicos, Barbados and Corfu, Greece.
