Cloud 22 pool bar now offers a menu of IV options to sunbathers

Guests at Atlantis The Royal’s rooftop pool Cloud 22, can now sample intravenous (IV) drip therapy while lounging at the venue’s cabanas or beside the pool.

Provided by the hotel’s Aeon Clinic, which bills itself as the first holistic regenerative wellness centre in the Middle East, the offer is designed to help keep guests hydrated and revitalised throughout the hot summer months while they enjoy the venue’s bar and pool facilities.

The drips are said to “redefine hydration” while offering “a myriad of wellness benefits”.

Guests can choose from a menu of IV drips. These include the Stress Relief, said to promote relaxation; the Gut Nurturing option, to promote digestive health; the Liver Cleanse to detoxify the body; and the Post-Gym Recovery, devised to enhance muscle recovery and replenish vital nutrients. Prices start at US$572.

According to the clinic, “IV drip therapy works by delivering essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream, with a high absorption rate of 90% to 100%”.

Cloud 22, located on the 22nd floor of the 43-floor Atlantis The Royal, boasts a 90m pool, 11 cabanas with private plunge pools and a two-storey cabana complete with its own floating infinity pool.
