Strategic management changes introduced at beachfront Jebel Ali destination
UAE-born hospitality group JA Resorts & Hotels has expanded its senior leadership with three new appointments at its flagship beachfront destination, JA The Resort. The Jebel Ali complex comprises three five-star hotels: JA Palm Tree Court, JA Beach Hotel and JA Lake View Hotel.
JA Lake View Hotel
Taking the helm at JA Lake View Hotel is Natalia Gecziova, who has been appointed Hotel Manager. She brings nearly 15 years of industry experience spanning the Middle East and Europe, with a background in luxury resorts and lifestyle hotels.
Her most recent role was at Studio One Hotel, where she started as Head of Hotel Operations and was later promoted to Hotel Manager. During her tenure, she led refurbishment projects and implemented sustainability initiatives that earned the hotel a Green Key certification. In her new role, Gecziova will focus on elevating the property’s sports and wellness offerings to enhance guest experiences.
JA Palm Tree Court
Over at JA Palm Tree Court, Saskia Evraert has been appointed Hotel Manager. With more than two decades of experience, Evraert brings extensive local market expertise, having held leadership roles across major hospitality groups such as Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, where she managed a complex of five hotels.
Elsewhere in the city, she has worked with Jumeirah and Sheraton before joining JA Palm Tree Court. Here, Evraert will focus on preserving the resort’s serene character through team collaboration and mentorship.

Culinary Leadership
Leading the resort’s F&B scene is Joao Garcia, a 20-year industry veteran who has been appointed Executive Chef at JA Beach Hotel and JA Palm Tree Court. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and the Alain Ducasse School, Garcia brings a foundation in classical training. He has worked in multiple Michelin-starred kitchens in Europe before stepping into senior leadership positions in the Middle East.
Garcia’s key experiences include working as Group Executive Chef at Meeras Holding Group and Executive Sous Chef at Jumeirah. Now at JA, Garcia aims to strengthen the brand’s culinary identity, with an emphasis on seasonality and fresh, local produce.
Commenting on the new senior leadership team, Rene Egle, Cluster General Manager at JA The Resort, said: “Remaining relevant in today’s hospitality landscape means welcoming new voices and fresh ways of thinking, while staying true to the values that have shaped us from the beginning.
“With leaders like Saskia, Natalia, and Joao bringing their perspectives to the resort, we’re confident we have the right people behind us to deliver intuitive service and experience-led stays.”
Jebel Ali remains one of the key development areas for the hospitality group, and is home to JA’s first-ever property, the JA Beach Hotel, launched in 1981.
