Developer targets yacht tourism with unveiling of sailing port on country’s North Coast
Emaar Misr has inaugurated Marassi Marina and Yacht Club, the first international yacht port on Egypt’s North Coast, on the Mediterranean Sea.
Emaar Properties managing director Mohamed Alabbar said: “We are proud of the opening of the first international yacht port in Egypt’s North Coast. It will put the North Coast on the map of yachting tourism around the world.”

Alabbar added that the project contributes to the creation of job opportunities in the yacht services sector, employing more than 180,000 people.
Tourism officials hope the project will attract further investment in Egypt’s northern region. The Egyptian government is currently driving development of the country’s tourism sector.
