Dubai airline boosts services to four Middle East destinations
Emirates will introduce 17 extra flights to four Middle East destinations ahead of Eid Al Fitr, as demand for travel surges.
More than 371,000 passengers are expected to fly with Emirates during the Eid holiday rush, a significant spike that reflects a broader trend in regional travel in 2025.
Dnata reports that UAE traveller bookings for international trips and staycations has increased by 65% compared to last year, with more than 90% of UAE residents travelling internationally this Eid, compared to just 60% in 2024.
Gulf residents could get up to four days of paid leave for Eid-Al-Fitr, which is expected to start on Monday, 31 March, depending on when the moon is sighted.

The airline has advised passengers to arrive at DXB up to three hours before their flight departure.
In celebration of the festive season, Emirates will serve a special Eid menu on select flights to and from Dubai, featuring traditional favourites such as chicken madhbi, prawn matfi and pistachio cake.
