Flight commences 15 January in time for Lunar New Year festival
Emirates is adding a second daily flight between Dubai and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam starting from 15 January 2025.
The launch date has been timed to coincide with the expected surge in demand around the Lunar New Year festival, which falls on 29 January 2025.
The new flight will depart from Dubai International airport at 04:00, landing at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) at 13:55 local time. Return flights depart at 18:25, arriving at 22:55. All times are local.

Operated by Boeing 777-300ER, the flight will offer a two-class configuration, with 42 seats in Business Class and 386 seats in Economy Class
The flight will complement Emirates existing daily service to SGN, which departs Dubai each day at 09:45 and returns from SGN at 23:50.
With a network of more than 140 destinations worldwide, Emirates also operates daily return flights to Vietnam’s capital city Hanoi.
An Emirates spokesperson said: “The new flight will further enhance air connectivity for both the city and its neighbouring regional points, streamlining travel and opening up new opportunities to boost both tourism and trade opportunities.”
