Riyadh service marks debut of Premium Economy aircraft flying to a Middle East destination
Emirates will introduce newly retrofitted Boeing 777s to two more destinations this year.
Zurich in Switzerland and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia will be served by the upgraded aircraft from 1 October 2024.
The Riyadh service marks the debut of Emirates' Premium Economy flights to a Middle East destination.
The airline recently announced that it's first refurbished plane would be used to serve its Geneva route.

From 22 September 2024, Geneva will become the first destination in the Emirates network to be served by retrofitted aircraft with Premium Economy cabins as well as the newly refreshed Business Class cabins.
From 9 October 2024, Brussels will also be served by a retrofitted B777 six times a week.
The airline plans to serve 28 cities with Premium Economy cabin flights by the end of this year. So far, 25 aircraft have been retrofitted, with 17 more aircraft to undergo refurbishment by December 2024.
