Turkish Airlines debuts Crystal Business Class Suites in Middle East

Seats feature an adjustable suite door and privacy panel

Turkish Airlines has unveiled its new luxury Crystal Business Class Suites, introducing them to the Middle East market for the first time.

The flag carrier, which features among the top 10 world’s best business class airlines in 2024, according to Skytrax, joins Qatar Airways in showcasing new business class cabins at Arabian Travel Market 2025, taking place 28 April to 1 May in Dubai.

First launched at the UK’s Farnborough International Airshow in July last year, Turkish Airlines' new Crystal suites provide a cocooning retreat enhanced privacy and comfort, and will be first introduced to the flag carrier’s new arrival aircraft, before being rolled out to its existing fleet, including Boeing 777-300-ER, 787, and Airbus A350-900, in the coming years.

Unfolding over 42 pods, the new Crystal cabin is the first from Turkish Airlines to feature an adjustable suite door for in-flight privacy, plus all come with lie-flat beds.

The staggered 1-2-1 layout means each seat has direct aisle access, with full visibility from every window suite, while every other row in the middle section has a pulldown divider, making it ideal for passengers travelling together.

Comfort is also a priority, with the new seats offering a wide 23-inch seat width with wider, higher footwell space.

Uniquely, the new cabin has been manufactured locally and designed in-house, by Turkish Airlines subsidiary TCI Aircraft Interiors, with plush leathers and fabrics used all sourced from Turkiye to reflect the flag carrier’s roots.

The new suites feature a lighter, warmer colour palette alongside natural materials, such as locally-sourced leather, a marble-style console table and rose-gold finishes.

Passengers will also enjoy wireless charging, adjustable ambient reading lights, a 22-inch high-definition screen and noise-reducing headphones.
