The carrier will offer five flights per week to the island nation from 7 October
Etihad Airways will begin operating more flights to Seychelles in response to increased market demand.
The airline will add an additional flight to its weekly roster from 7 October 2021, up from four at present.
The flights will operate from Abu Dhabi to Seychelles’ capital Mahe every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Etihad will also operate seven additional services between 15 and 24 October to coincide with the half-term holidays. In addition, the airline has launched a sale with return fares to the Seychelles starting from AED1,795 for travel in October and November 2021.

Martin Drew, Etihad senior vice president of Sales and Cargo, said: “Seychelles is a one-of-a-kind destination, and with vaccinated travellers in the UAE being able to fly there and back without quarantine, it’s the perfect destination for a short getaway or a longer family holiday.”
Abu Dhabi added Seychelles to its green list of destinations in July, meaning passengers are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi.
Travellers are required to present a negative PCR test before boarding Etihad Airways flights.
