Flydubai, Address and Vida hotels to offer free tickets to Expo

Pre-pandemic, organisers predicted the event would attract some 25 million visitors

Following in the tracks of national carrier Emirates, Dubai-based airline Flydubai has announced today that passengers booking a flydubai flight to Dubai will enjoy a complimentary one-day ticket to Expo 2020 Dubai. The initiative is valid for all bookings made from 1 September for travel during the event, which will take place from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.

Guests staying at Address Hotels & Resorts, and Vida Hotels and Resorts properties in Dubai during Expo 2020 Dubai will also receive free tickets to the event. The offer is subject to at least a one-night stay at the Address or a three-night stay at a Vida hotel. Emaar Hospitality Group is the official hotel, hospitality and catering partner of the six-month show.

Emaar Hospitality Group has also announced it will manage the 2020 Club by Emaar. The venue within Al Wasl Plaza comprises a hospitality lounge, an events lounge and a rooftop lounge. Visitors can access 2020 Club by Emaar by purchasing Hospitality Dining Passes from Emaar Hospitality’s official website. The pass includes a three-hour dining experience at the Hospitality Lounge with unlimited food and selected soft drinks.

Expo 2020 Dubai vice president, market strategy and sales Sumathi Ramanathan, said: “As our official Hotel, Hospitality and Catering Partner and one of our 2,500-plus authorised ticket resellers (ATRs), Emaar Hospitality Group is helping us warmly welcome millions of visitors to the first World Expo in the region, and the biggest cultural gathering in the world.”

Emaar’s hospitality arm has grown over the past 12 months with 25 projects accounting for 6,478 rooms in the pipeline.
