Flydubai reports record growth in female representation

Number of Emirati women employed has almost tripled since August 2022

Dubai’s low-cost carrier, Flydubai, has celebrated Emirati Women’s Day by honouring the contribution of Emirati women to the airline’s success. 

Flydubai has seen a significant increase in the representation of Emirati women within its workforce. According to the airline, the number of Emirati women who have joined the team since August 2022 has almost tripled.

The airline has invested in various initiatives for UAE nationals to support future growth opportunities, offering a well-established cadet programme, an engineering apprentice programme, and internships and work placements across different departments.

The carrier upholds that Emirati women play an important role at Flydubai and are represented across various departments, including inflight operations, engineering and operations.
