Arrivals from the UAE and Bahrain will no longer be required to quarantine
Germany has added the UAE and Bahrain to its safe list, reducing Covid-19 restrictions for travellers arriving from these countries.
The news follows the previous inclusion of Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to the list, and the easing of restrictions applies to all travellers 12 years and above regardless of individual vaccination status.
According to the new regulations, visitors are now only required to provide a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of travel, a valid vaccination certificate or proof of recovery to enter the country.
