Hilton London Metropole targets GCC guests with new family-friendly suites

Move follows a surge in bookings from the region

This summer, Hilton’s London Metropole hotel has added a new room category specifically for Gulf Coast Council (GCC) region outbound travellers.

The new two-bedroom family suites can sleep up to six guests. They feature a communal living room space, a master king size bedroom and a second king size bedroom, both with ensuite bathrooms, 55-inch TVs, WiFi and air conditioning. A kitchenette adds further convenience.

Blending a boutique feel with large property facilities, rooms are larger than the average size typically found in London, and guests benefit from 24/7 room service and a state-of-the-and art fitness centre.

The move follows a surge in bookings from the region. In 2023, more than 65% of all summer bookings at the hotel were made by guests from the GCC, reflecting the property's increasing popularity among regional travellers.

“We are thrilled to expand our family-focused offering to better cater to our new and loyal guests from the GCC who made up more than half of our summer bookings last year,” said Bill Fisher, Hilton London Metropole’s general manager. “Our two-bedroom family suites, along with our other carefully curated amenities, including a prayer room and curated halal menus featuring authentic Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, affirm our commitment to providing a comfortable home-away-from-home experience for our visitors from the region.”

Tyburn Kitchen

Halal menus are available in Bow Bar and Tyburn Kitchen. Children's menus are also available and younger guests are well-looked after with the hotel hosting balloon artists in Tyburn Kitchen's Tyburn Tots area and a digital treasure hunt to find hotel mascot Hugo the Hedgehog.

Located in London's W2 postcode, near Paddington Station, with direct access to the Heathrow Express, the property is also close to tube stops on the Circle, District, City and Bakerloo lines and within close proximity to iconic attractions such as Madame Tussauds, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.
