Hyatt collaborated with 11 Egyptian artists on decor
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has opened its first "art-centric" hotel in the Egyptian capital of Cairo.
Hyatt Centric Cairo West aims to reflect Egypt’s art scene across it 301 rooms and suites, while offering easy access to the city’s cultural attractions, including the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
The hotel has collaborated with 11 local artists to infuse the hotel’s design with a blend of modern and traditional elements, transforming each space into a gallery of Egyptian art.

The artworks span a range of mediums, including sculptures, paintings and mixed media.
The hotel’s guest rooms have been inspired by the ancient Egyptian baboon – displayed as a motif to reflect the country's heritage.
The hotel has a 10,225-square-foot pool, a fully equipped aqua gym that has an interactive art installation character called Mr. Rizz, and the city’s only built-in billiard table located inside the swimming pool.
The hotel is also home to Egypt’s first podcast and guitar studio within a hotel
Hyatt Centric Cairo West's dining options include Grab and Go Market, Lobby Lounge Bar, Whiskey Lounge, Muse restaurant and Rizz Pool Bar.
