Hyatt Regency Taghazout is set at the foot of the Atlas Mountains
Hyatt Hotels has opened its third property in Morocco – the Hyatt Regency Taghazout. Located in the small fishing village of the same name, the hotel is at the foot of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
The hotel features 190 guest rooms, as well as 12 standard suites, 10 terrace suites and six executive terrace suites. Most rooms offer ocean views.
Hyatt Regency Taghazout is home to five F&B concepts, including Citron Brule, which offers a mix of international and Moroccan cuisines and La Vie en Blue, the property’s pool bar.
Speaking about the opening, the property’s general manager Pascal Leprou said: “We are excited to welcome guests to the peaceful village of Taghazout. Bordered by the ocean and bathed in year-long sunshine. The property has been thoughtfully designed to create spaces where guests can connect and recharge while enjoying dynamic interactions.”
The opening marks the second Hyatt Regency hotel in the country, alongside Hyatt Regency Casablanca, and the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Taghazout, as the Hyatt Regency Taghazout joins the Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay. A fourth Moroccan property, Park Hyatt Marrakech is currently under development.
