IHG’s new lifestyle hotel will open on Palm West Beach this September

Hospitality group IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced that Voco Dubai The Palm is on track to open in Q3 this year.

Located on the shores of Palm West Beach, the opening scheduled for September will mark the first IHG-managed hotel on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah.

Representatives say that the property will aim “to cater to travellers looking to stay connected, productive and energised when travelling”, offering flexible spaces to both work and network, as well as spaces to relax.

The hotel will have 143 rooms and suites “combining form, function and sustainability”

Each room is equipped with modern amenities and intuitively designed work areas, with bedding made from 100% recycled materials.

Onsite dining venues will include the European-inspired Maison Mathis, a family-friendly restaurant serving European classics, such as mussels, steak tartare and Belgian waffles. Elsewhere on the property, Frenia – the hotel’s poolside rooftop lounge – will serve Mediterranean cuisine with entertainment and views of the Ain Dubai and Dubai Marina.

Voco Dubai The Palm leisure facilities will include a beach club with a private beach and a ladies-only spa.

This will mark the third Voco property in Dubai, joining Voco Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road and Voco Bonnington, Jumeirah Lakes Towers Dubai.
