Just You tour operator returns to Jordan

“It was all very emotional,” says tour manager 

UK solo tour operator Just You is once again taking customers to Jordan, having completed its first overseas holidays in more than 18 months.

The G Touring brand is currently running its eight-day ‘Jordan – A Land of Ancient Treasures & Empires’ trip, which began 8 November 2021.

“It has been a very exciting couple of weeks as everyone at Just You HQ,” said product and operations director Liesa Bissett. “People have really missed exploring and Jordan is a fantastic way of saying that the time for an adventure is now.

“It is one of our most popular tours, taking in Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.”

Having returned to work, tour manager Jennie Whalley said: “It was so exciting to be back on a Just You solos tour again. I thought that it was the travel that I would have missed the most, but actually it was watching the group come together and make new friends, it was all very emotional.

“The connection is what people have really missed, the coming together as a group and sharing those amazing experiences when we are out exploring and then talking about it later when we were back in the hotel. It was such a special experience, and to watch people go home, having made new friends, is such a big part of what Just You is all about. It is one of the main reasons that I became a tour manager and why I love what I do.”
