LPM Abu Dhabi to host Michelin-starred Odette’s Julien Royer

The one-off dinner is part of the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants collaborations

LPM’s Abu Dhabi outpost will host Singapore-based Julien Royer of three Michelin-starred Odette for an exclusive celebration in collaboration with World’s 50 Best, as part of the first edition of Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants event programme.

Taking place on Sunday 6 February 2022, the star-studded evening will present a menu curated by Royer and aligned with LPM’s sharing concept.

Dishes from Royer’s famous Singapore restaurant Odette, twice named number one in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, will be served alongside signatures from his latest concept, Claudine.

Royer will present a selection of new and signature dishes

To start, there will be small plates including botan ebi taco and coriander, kokkaido uni and brown butter tartelette and crudites bagna cauda. Next the chef will present dishes such as Normandy brown crab, black truffle tart and kampot pepper-crusted pigeon.

The final course will comprise aloe vera with grape and oolong tea and ‘Pariteroles’ with Tahitian vanilla, Gunaja chocolate and pecan praline

Speaking about the event, Royer said: “It’s great to see this part of the world receive more recognition, and for 50 Best to expand into the Middle East and North Africa, shining a brighter spotlight on the richness of the region.

“I still recall when 50 Best first extended  into Asia back in 2013 and I received the ‘One to Watch’  award.  To witness the evolution of this prestigious list over the years, as it shapes our gastronomic community around the world, has been truly exciting.

“Having frequently visited  LPM during my time in London and Hong Kong, we happily  accepted an invitation from 50 Best to cook with LPM Abu Dhabi. As we’re working with a much larger venue and a different style of service, we thought it would be opportune to present a curation of timeless  Odette classics alongside a selection of sharing-style signatures from  Claudine – a French-style neighbourhood restaurant and our latest concept in Singapore – to share a preview of these experiences with our guests and continue to bring a refreshing perspective on French dining for the present day.”

The Julien Royer x LPM collaboration dinner costs AED595, with drinks pairing for AED250. LPM Abu Dhabi, The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Seats are limited and can be booked via info@lpmabudhabi.ae
