The airline has leased a second aircraft to service the Maldives
Beond has announced the lease and receipt of a second aircraft to serve customers travelling to the Maldives. Its new Airbus A321 joins its A319 aircraft.
In November, Beond launched commercial passenger services from Munich, Zurich and Riyadh to Malé, Maldives, the airline’s first hub, with the airline’s first aircraft, an A319 that seats 44 in an all lie-flat seating configuration. The second aircraft will support Beond’s expansion from Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok to the Maldives in mid-2024.
The Airbus A321 aircraft is currently undergoing a reconfiguration to seat 68 customers in fully lie-flat seating and the Beond’s signature dark grey and copper livery will be applied to the exterior.
