Saudi Arabia’s first JW Marriott and W Hotel will open in the mountain resort
Marriott International has announced the signing of an agreement to open two luxury properties in Trojena, NEOM’s mountain destination located in the north-west region of Saudi Arabia.
The W Hotel in Trojena will feature 236 guest rooms, including 47 suites, with uninterrupted views of the mountains and a freshwater lake. Design plans for the property include a Living Room lounge, poolside WET Deck, W Lounge, AWAY Spa and FIT fitness centre. The hotel will also have four dining outlets and retail space.
The property will be situated within the region’s Lake Village, which will deliver residential, hospitality and commercial experiences on the shores of the 2.8km lake.

Situated in The Bow, described as "a futuristic water world combining nature with technology", Trojena's JW Marriott Hotel will be aimed at luxury travellers interested in well-being experiences.
Immersed within the lake itself, the substructure will be designed to withstand the weight and pressure of the surrounding water. Plans for the hotel include 500 luxury rooms and suites, and extensive entertainment and recreational offerings including five dining venues, a fitness club, a kids' club, a swimming pools and spa, a ballroom and multiple meeting spaces. The communal spaces, including an atrium capable of hosting large events, will be adaptable to allow for multi-purpose year-round use.
