“Ras Al Khaimah continues its emergence as a world-class destination, and we are excited to further expand our portfolio in the emirate and support the growth of its tourism sector,” said Satya Anand, President, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International.
Of the UAE's northern emirates, Ras Al Khaimah is the one enjoying the brightest spotlight when it comes to international tourism and grabbing headlines.
RAK saw a record 1.28 million overnight arrivals in 2024 and aims to attract 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030, boosted by landmark developments such as the Wynn Al Marjan Island, which will be the UAE’s first casino resort.

According to Stirling Hospitality Advisors in its fourth edition of the RAK Investment Pulse report, hotel inventory in the emirate is expected to more than double by 2027, with 7,537 rooms being added to the existing 7,144.
More than 70% of that pipeline is within the five-star category, positioning RAK squarely at the luxury market. Among future openings, Marriott properties include The Westin, W Al Marjan and JW Marriott Al Marjan, all slated to open by 2027, as well as Al Marjan Island debuts including an NH Collection-branded hotel and the 350-key Le Meridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa.
The signing is the seventh collaboration between Marriott and ADNH, with the portfolio including The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal; JW Marriott Hotel Marina; Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort; Le Méridien Abu Dhabi; Hotel Boulevard Autograph Collection and The Heritage Hotel, Autograph Collection.
