Luca Medda relocates from Oman to take on the role in Dubai

Millennium Place Barsha Heights hotel in Dubai in the UAE has appointed Luca Medda as its General Manager.

Medda will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of guest experiences, while driving strategic initiatives to enhance the hotel’s market positioning.

An Italian citizen, fluent in four languages, Medda holds multiple diplomas in Hotel Management, Business Economics and languages from esteemed institutions across Europe.

He joins the team with more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. Medda most recently served as Cluster General Manager at the Grand Millennium Hotel & Millennium Executive Apartment in Muscat, Oman. During his tenure, he managed the largest hotel inventory in Muscat and led the successful pre-opening of Millennium's Studio M hotel.

His strategic vision and operational excellence drove outstanding results, including a significant increase in hotel performance, guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Throughout his career, Medda has transformed hotels into top-performing assets. He also worked as General Manager at Centro Capital Doha Hotel by Rotana, where he oversaw the pre-opening of the first Centro property in Doha. Under his leadership, the hotel received the 'Best Hotel Opening of 2016' award within the group.
