British‑inspired hospitality concept set for global rollout, including the Middle East
Minor Hotels’ new luxury brand, The Wolseley Hotels, is set to make its international debut with the launch of its first hotel in New York City in early 2027, marking the global rollout of the brand and its first flagship property.
Inspired by the elegance of The Wolseley restaurant on London’s Piccadilly, the brand will fuse British sophistication with European flair as it expands into major gateway cities worldwide.
The New York opening marks the beginning of a planned international expansion, with additional properties envisaged for key destinations across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Located just steps from Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan, The Wolseley Hotel New York will occupy the landmark building at 130 West 44th Street, originally constructed in 1905 as the clubhouse for The Lambs Club by noted architectural firm McKim, Mead & White. Long a cornerstone of the city’s artistic and theatrical community, the address remains synonymous with New York’s creative spirit.

Drawing inspiration from its London namesake, renowned for its Art Deco design and celebrated hospitality, the hotel will reinterpret that legacy through a cosmopolitan Manhattan lens, offering discreet, personalised service and a vibrant culinary programme.
Featuring 76 spacious rooms and suites, The Wolseley Hotel New York will showcase refined interiors, intricate detailing and bespoke craftsmanship throughout.
Its signature restaurant and bar will introduce The Wolseley’s renowned grand café concept to the US for the first time, offering elegant all-day dining and classic cocktails, while a cellar-level speakeasy-style bar will provide a more intimate counterpart to the grand café above.
