Miral confirms award‑winning Topgolf concept to debut on Yas Island
Topgolf, the popular sports and hospitality attraction, is set to open on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi in 2026, according to developer Miral. The venue will become the second Topgolf in the UAE, building on the success of the Dubai outpost, which attracted more than 2.7 million guests in its first five years, drawn by its blend of social golf experiences and dining.
Miral confirmed that Topgolf Yas Island is already 28% complete, with development targeted for completion in 2026.
The attraction will further enhance the island’s growing leisure and entertainment lineup, which includes Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, SeaWorld Yas Island and CLYMB, alongside existing golf offerings Yas Links and Yas Acres Golf & Country Club.

Topgolf Yas Island will feature a three-level, multi-tier driving range and entertainment complex with 82 hitting bays, including eight VIP bays, spanning approximately 6,500 square metres of gross floor area and a 19,000-square-metre outfield driving range equipped with TopTracer technology.
The ground floor will offer a virtual reality hitting bay, direct tee-line access for practice and training, lounge areas, an event lawn and a dedicated pro shop, while upper levels will feature dining venues, a sports bar and sky lounge with outdoor terraces, plus an arcade zone and flexible event spaces.
The project is being developed by Miral in partnership with Viya, the authorised Topgolf franchise partner behind the Dubai venue and the golf courses on Yas Island. Viya also manages a portfolio of leading UAE clubs, including Emirates Golf Club, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Jumeirah Golf Estates and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, strengthening the destination’s golf credentials.
Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said the project reflects the company’s commitment to further positioning Yas Island as a global destination for entertainment and leisure, describing Topgolf as an “immersive sporting experience” that “embodies innovation and joy”.
Miral’s wider pipeline on Yas Island includes the recently opened Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, a Harry Potter-themed land at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Disneyland Abu Dhabi, the first Disney park in the Middle East, which is due to open by 2032.
