Ras Al Khor to include cycle tracks, birdwatching towers and dining options

Dubai has begun plans to redevelop Ras Al Khor wildlife sanctuary as a premier eco-tourism destination, backed by a AED650 million investment.
Once complete, the redeveloped nature reserve will accommodate up to 300,000 visitors annually, six times more that is currently possible, and include cycling tracks, birdwatching towers and dining options.
One of the world’s few urban-protected wetlands, Ras Al Khor was the first UAE site to be designated under the Ramsar Convention and is home to nearly 450 species of flora and fauna.
