The three- and four-bedroom retreats are ideal for groups
Renovations are now complete on Six Senses Zighy Bay’s three-bedroom Retreats and four-bedroom Private Reserve.
The resort, which is tucked away at the tip of Zighy Bay between the Musandam mountains and the sea, has recently converted its three Retreats from two- to three-bedroom Omani-style villas.
Located at each end of the beach, they measure 1,122 square metres and provide ample social spaces, including a lounge, dining area with a private bar, indoor and outdoor living areas, and an infinity pool with beachfront sun beds.
Palm leaves and wicker designs are intricately crafted into the interiors with furnishings sourced from South Africa, Lebanon, India and the UAE, creating a rustic feel in line with Zighy Bay’s barefoot luxury style.
The Private Reserve bedroom
At 3,000 square metres, the Private Reserve is a four-bedroom villa equipped with a kitchen, a living and dining space, a pool table, a private bar and a cinema
The compound comprises four separate villas serving as bedrooms, all with ensuite indoor and outdoor showers. Private quarters for a nanny and other staff are available. An oversized infinity pool with a view that stretches right across the bay sits at the front of the main villa.

Speaking about the upgraded accommodation, Six Senses Zighy Bay general manager Andrew Spearman said: “The resort is all about serenity, authenticity and spending time with loved ones in a private setting. Our design team has done wonders to make the refurbished villas a home away from home for our guests, and we’re looking forward to helping them create memories that will last a lifetime.
