Paul Baker will become the new president of Atlantis Resorts, taking the helm at a pivotal time for the company's Dubai properties, taking over from Timothy Kelly.
In an LinkedIn post, parent company Kerzner stated: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul G.V. Baker, as President, Atlantis. With an impressive career spanning 19 years across the hospitality and entertainment industry, Paul brings a wealth of experience and visionary leadership to Kerzner and our iconic, destination-defining Atlantis Resorts."
Baker, a seasoned executive with nearly two decades of experience in the casino and hospitality sector, brings a wealth of expertise, particularly valuable as the UAE reviews new gaming regulations.

Baker's career includes serving as President of the Grand Lisboa Palace in Macau, a US$5 billion luxury resort with nearly 1,900 rooms, 300 gaming tables and 1,150 slot machines.
His leadership background also encompasses roles as Executive Vice President at Wynn Macau in China, and Vice President at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in the US.
Such a strategic appointment could further bolster Atlantis Resorts' leadership in the evolving market dynamics of the UAE hospitality market.
