Saudia launches direct flights to the Maldives

The carrier’s previous Maldives service included a stopover in the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo

Saudia Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, has started operating four weekly direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the Maldives.

Saudia Holidays is currently offering exclusive Maldives packages, which include flights, four- or five-star accommodation and all meals. Guests will also be offered resort transfers at competitive prices.

Flights to the Maldives are operated by the airline’s Boeing 777-300 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft, and only fully vaccinated passengers and those who present a negative PCR test can travel to the Maldives without having to quarantine on arrival.

Since the resumption of international flights to and from the Kingdom, Saudia has operated more than 53 flights to the Maldivian capital, carrying more than 8,000 guests.
