Christian Pertl brings 30 years’ experience to the role
Shangri-La Group has appointed Christian Pertl as Vice President of Commercial for its operations in the Middle East, India, Indian Ocean, Europe, and the Americas (MEIA) region.
Pertl brings almost three decades of experience in the luxury hospitality sector across Europe, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean.
Known for his expertise in loyalty programmes, digital marketing and revenue optimisation, he has demonstrated an innovative approach to commercial management and held pivotal roles with some of the world's leading hospitality brands. His strategic insights have contributed to the financial success of those organisations.

In his new role, he will be responsible for steering Shangri-La’s commercial strategy, with a strong focus on driving growth and enhancing the financial results of properties across the region, particularly those that require additional support in the current market.
