The hotel will be located at Aetna Springs, first discovered in the 1870s
Six Senses has announced that it will bring its ethos to an existing wellness sanctuary in California’ Napa County.
The original resort thrived until the 1970s as a natural spa destination and the site remains an agricultural haven producing some of the world's most sought-after wine.
Located a two-hour drive from San Francisco, Six Senses Napa Valley will welcome guests to the western edge of a 3,000-acre estate. The existing structures will be preserved, and the landscape regenerated to bring back the beauty and functionality of the natural mineral springs, with a focus on native planting.

The resort will have 95 rooms and suites, including 10 tent-style structures, and interiors will be designed by 1508 London, known for its work in luxury hospitality. There will also be 16 branded residences, which will be serviced by Six Senses.
Wellness programming will include yoga, meditation, mindfulness, visiting practitioners and treatments inspired by nature.
In addition, the historic mineral springs will be revived to provide indoor and outdoor thermal bathing. Pioneering indoor bathing experiences will incorporate local herbs and essential oils.
