New scholarships mark 90 years of operation for the Indian hotel company

The Oberoi Group is celebrating 90 years in business by launching its own scholarship programme. The initiative is designed to honour the legacy of The Oberoi Group’s founders while nurturing the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Founded by the Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi and continued under the leadership of Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi, The Oberoi Group has earned international acclaim and made its mark on the global hospitality landscape. To honour this legacy the company will offer two scholarships.

The Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi – Dare to Dream Scholarship is named after the Oberoi's founder, and is open to hotel operations employees from hotels outside The Oberoi Group in India. It aims to encourage individuals to "dream big and pursue excellence in their careers", reflecting Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi's belief in the power of ambition and hard work.

The Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi – Be the Best Scholarship is named in honour of Oberoi's visionary leader who put India on the international luxury travel map. It is available for hotel operations employees from The Oberoi Group both in India and overseas. It's designed to motivate employees to strive for the highest standards of excellence in their roles, embodying Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi's commitment to setting new benchmarks in luxury and service.
