The World's 50 Best Hotels announces...

The hotels listing is the brand’s first global launch since 2009

As well as announcing the inaugural World’s 50 Best Hotels this September, the 50 Best organisation will reveal the winners of a series of awards designed to highlight select properties and individuals in the hospitality space.

With some categories sponsored by partnering companies, the special awards are Best New Hotel, Eco Hotel, Best Beach Hotel, Best Boutique Hotel and the Icon Award.

In addition, two awards will be revealed in the weeks building up to The World’s 50 Best Hotels ceremony. These are the Art of Hospitality Award which will be announced on 22 August and the One To Watch Award which will be announced on 5 September 2023.

The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2023 list, which will be announced at a ceremony at the Guildhall, London on 19 September, will be the highlight of three days of celebrations across the UK capital, featuring events in some of its most breathtaking venues.

The ranking is compiled by the votes from 580 anonymous experts and will reflect the very best travel experiences around the globe. The voters who make up the 50 Best Hotels Academy are balanced mix of hoteliers, travel journalists, consultants and seasoned luxury travellers, selected by a group of industry-leading Academy Chairs across nine regions globally.
