Dabiz Muñoz’s StreetXO is now open at Dubai's new One&Only One Za'abeel

Located on the 4th floor of the new and architecturally striking "urban vertical resort", One&Only One Za’abeel, located in the Trade Centre district of Dubai, StreetXO by chef Dabiz Muñoz is now open.

Muñoz was crowned the World’s Best Chef in 2023 by The Best Chef Awards, and his three-Michelin-star restaurant, DiverXO in Spain, currently holds third place on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023.

Led by general manager Pedro Castro, StreetXO will open for dinner from 6pm to midnight.

The menu blends global flavours and recipes, offered elevated street food with signature dishes including the Pekinese dumplings, sandwich club, Pedroche’s croquettes, RamenXO and Vietnam Nem.

The StreetXO design concept is an urban alley injected with haute cuisine energy. Drawing inspiration from the punk rockers and street performers from Soho, Camden and Shinjuku, the interiors are a deep dive into chaos and order; chaos on the ceiling and walls, horizontal order in the design of the diners’ space.

Guests enter through a tunnel, setting the scene for the visually arresting experience that awaits them. Right at the end of the tunnel, a pendant light from Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue, representing an acrobat carrying ceiling lights.

This circus-like “organised chaos” continues into the main dining space with suspended tables and Jean-Paul Gaultier upholstery. LED mirror screens create an optical illusion of infinite reflections. The terrace at StreetXO features more acrobatic sculptures, along with a 'top hat man' who disappears into the water under the main drop-off of the canopy.
