First Look: Sanasaryan Han, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Istanbul, Turkey

Originally constructed in 1895, the neo-classical Sanasaryan Han is steps from the Spice and Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque. The property has undergone restoration, honouring its heritage in its 63 guestrooms, including six suites with sweeping views framed by grand Ottoman arched windows. Each guest room features a Turkish tea set and bathrooms are inspired by ancient Turkish hammams. Sini restaurant serves refined versions of local dishes and, for drinks, there’s The Library Bar, a lively space that hosts weekly thespian events, including poetry readings.
