Dining and family-friendly activities offered beachside daily until late
Abu Dhabi has opened its first-ever night beach, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to swim under the stars throughout the summer.
Marsana Night Beach, located on Hudayriyat Island, will welcome night swimmers from sunset until 10pm on weekdays, and until midnight on weekends and public holidays.

Running from 1 July to 30 September, Marsana Night Beach will feature floodlit, lifeguard-supervised swimming areas. Guests can relax on comfortable loungers, enjoy complimentary towels and water, and order food and drinks from eight nearby restaurants with a simple QR code scan.
The beach promises more than just a cool dip after dark, with family-friendly entertainment, themed summer activities and exclusive dining offers on the agenda.
Admission is AED50 for adults and AED25 for children aged 6 to 11 from Monday to Thursday, rising to AED100 and AED50, respectively, on weekends. Children under six can enter for free.

The launch comes at a time when Abu Dhabi’s beaches are drawing international attention, with Saadiyat Beach recently named among the world’s top 50, celebrated for its sparkling eight-kilometre shoreline, turquoise waters and rich wildlife, including nesting turtles and dolphins.
Abu Dhabi aims to attract 40 million visitors annually by 2030 and to achieve this goal is rolling out major new attractions, including expanding Yas Waterworld with 20 new rides and slides and opening new museums.
Abu Dhabi’s Zayed National Museum is scheduled to open in the city’s Saadiyat Cultural District later this year, with six permanent galleries showcasing spanning 300,000 years of human history and telling the story of the emirates.
The opening marks the first of three major museums expected to debut on Saadiyat Island in 2025 and comes amid increasing interest in the region’s heritage, with arts and culture now topping the wish list for inbound visitors to the GCC, according to PwC Middle East.
