Samer Saleh is promoted following six months as Acting General Manager
Samer Saleh has been promoted to General Manager of Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai, following his six-month tenure as Acting General Manager.
Saleh started his journey with the Centara group in 2021, joining the pre-opening senior leadership team for the Mirage Beach Resort. By 2023, he was promoted to Hotel Manager before assuming the role of Acting GM in June 2025.
With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Saleh has held management roles across leading hotel groups in the UAE, including Hilton, Rotana, Millennium Hotels and Resorts and IHG.
During his time with Centara, Saleh has enhanced the hotel’s performance by boosting guest satisfaction and introducing new revenue streams. His leadership style has also been commended for fostering staff development and empowering team members to take ownership of new initiatives.
As General Manager, Saleh will focus on three key objectives: enriching guest experiences, optimising operations and maintaining financial sustainability. He also plans to integrate AI into resort operations to improve demand forecasting and dynamic pricing.

A key aspect of his role will be strengthening the resort’s family-first approach through expanded water-based attractions, seasonal festivities and kid-friendly activities, alongside partnerships with local schools and community groups.
Reflecting on his promotion, Samer Saleh said: “I have been part of this resort’s journey from the very beginning, and I deeply believe in its potential as a true home for families.
“My commitment is to our guests, our people and our owners to keep raising the bar on experience and performance.”
Debuting in 2021, Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai features more than 600 rooms, a family-themed water park and multiple dining venues. The opening marked the hospitality group’s UAE debut and its fourth Middle East property, following previous launches in Qatar and Oman.
Originating from Thailand, the Centara brand continues to strengthen its presence in East Asia, with seven new properties set to open across Japan, Laos and Vietnam.
