Mama Shelter to make Asian debut with Singapore hotel

Ennismore-owned Mama Shelter will make its Asian debut with a new hotel opening in Singapore in September 2025. 

 

The 115-room property, located on Killiney Road just steps from the busy Orchard road marks the brand’s 20th worldwide and follows the brand’s Middle East debut with the opening of Mama Shelter Dubai in January. 

 

To celebrate the Singapore opening, guests can enjoy room rates starting from SGD190 (AED545) per night, including breakfast for two, for bookings made by 31 August and stays between 23 September 2025 to 28 February 2026.

 

Designed by Dion & Arles, Mama Shelter Singapore emphasises community-oriented spaces, including an open-plan lobby with a raised stage and DJ booth for live events, plus a rooftop social area featuring a mosaic-tiled pool, tropical greenery and sunken game tables. 

 

Guests can also enjoy arcade and board games throughout, from lobby to rooftop to rooms.

A first for the brand, Mama Shelter Singapore introduces a bunk room designed for families or groups travelling together. 

 

Rooms feature patterned textiles, woven headboards and Peranakan-inspired carpets, alongside satin cotton sheets, soundproofing, large screens for films on demand and cruelty-free bathroom amenities by Australian brand Ink & Water. 

 

Nearly half the rooms offer private terraces, also a new feature for Mama Shelter.
