Qatar Airways adds more flights to the UK, US, Maldives and Japan

Qatar Airways will add an eighth daily flight between Heathrow, UK and Doha, Qatar from"following strong demand from customers".

The airline is a joint business partner with BA, which operates two flights a day between Heathrow and Doha. Qatar Airways holds a 25% stake in BA parent International Airlines Group (IAG) and the Qatar Investment Authority owns a 20% stake in Heathrow Airport.
