Exclusive facility will include luxury lounges and infrastructure for electric air taxis
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT) is set to enhance its luxury business aviation offering with the addition of a new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) facility, including a dedicated VVIP terminal and private jet hangar. The project was unveiled during the 2025 Dubai Airshow and is expected to open in 2027.
Developed in collaboration with Falcon Executive Aviation, the facility will feature a 1,500-square-metre terminal, an 8,000-square-metre multi-purpose hangar and 9,000 square metres of apron space for aircraft parking, servicing and loading.
Located a 15-minute drive from Al Marjan Island, home to the upcoming Wynn Resort, the terminal will feature VVIP lounges, a royal lounge, a helipad and infrastructure to accommodate emerging air mobility, such as electric air taxis
Built to international aviation standards, the facility aims to deliver enhanced privacy and flexibility for high-profile travellers and corporate jet operators.
Sustainability is central to the design, incorporating solar power, electric ground support vehicles and the ability to handle sustainable aviation fuel to achieve net-zero operational emissions.

“By integrating advanced technologies, adopting environmentally responsible design principles and supporting new forms of future mobility, we are building an ecosystem that aligns with our long-term development objectives.”
