Property to include 300 rooms, a beach club, spa and rooftop bar
Hard Rock International is set to bring a Hard Rock-branded hotel and residences to Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.
The hotel will have 300 rooms and will be part of a mixed-use development in the emirate’s Beach District, next to Al Marjan Island. There will also be 396 branded residences.
The luxury lifestyle development, a joint venture between Hard Rock International, db Group and RAK Hospitality Holding (RAKHH), is scheduled to open in 2028.
The opening is expected to create 500 permanent jobs in the region.
Once complete, the hotel will have multiple restaurants offering diverse cuisines, including waterfront dining venues, as well as a rooftop bar.
Facilities will include a beach club, multiple swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre and conference space, including event venues.

According to Hard Rock International’s SVP & Head of Global Hotel Development, Todd Hricko, the new site is designed to serve a growing tourism segment in the UAE.
Hricko said: “This development will open new doors for the Hard Rock global traveller in a destination with rich history and nature to explore.”
The development will join an ever-growing list of branded hotels and residences being built in Ras Al Khaimah, both on Al Marjan Island and elsewhere.
Around a 90-minute drive from Dubai, RAK is rapidly emerging as a major tourism hub, with a record 1.28 million overnight arrivals in 2024, up 5% compared to 2023.
Known as the Nature Emirate, the northernmost emirate has established itself as a premium destination with world-class hotels, resorts and tourism experiences, including access to Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, and the world’s longest zipline.
The emirate has established itself as a leader in sustainable tourism, becoming the first Middle Eastern destination to earn the EarthCheck Sustainable Destinations Silver Certification.
With plans to attract 3.5 million visitors by 2030, hotel inventory in the emirate is expected to more than double by 2027, according to Stirling Hospitality Advisors.
At the centre of this development is Wynn Al Marjan Island, a 60-hectare integrated casino resort, which is on track to open in early 2027, with 1,217 rooms, 24 dining venues and the Middle East’s first casino.
The resort recently revealed details of its first destination, Enclave, an ultra-exclusive address conceived as a “mansion in the sky” with 299 suites.
Joining Wynn on Al Marjan Island is a wave of new hotel openings over the next few years, including a 250-key Fairmont hotel, slated to open in 2028, and other developments, including the world’s first multi-branded waterfront destination, Mira Coral Bay.
Marriott has the largest pipeline with developments such as The Westin, W Al Marjan and JW Marriott Al Marjan all scheduled to open by 2027, while other brands including Nobu Hotels, Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts and Ushuaïa are all planning properties in Ras Al Khaimah.
