Frequent flyers can gain access to flat-rate pricing across 16 GCC routes
Oman’s low-cost carrier SalamAir has introduced its first loyalty programme, mOVemore, giving frequent travellers immediate benefits such as predictable fares and guaranteed access to flights across its growing domestic and regional network.
Powered by travel subscription technology firm Caravelo, this launch places SalamAir at the forefront of a Middle East shift towards flexible flight memberships, with similar models now offered by Air Arabia and Flyadeal.
Positioned as a first-of-its-kind product in Oman, the subscription-based membership aims to “reduce travel cost” for flyers on 16 routes—six domestic and 10 across the GCC. Accessible via the SalamAir website and mobile app, members can lock in fixed fares, benefit from discounted priority check-in and enjoy a 20kg baggage allowance.
Unlike traditional points-based systems, mOVemore offers flat-rate pricing, allowing members purchasing 12 domestic trips to pay a fixed 9.9 OMR per flight (excluding taxes), guaranteeing predictability regardless of market demand or season.
Two membership tiers are available, with options to subscribe to monthly or bi-monthly plans covering six or twelve one-way or return flights.

A minimum six-month commitment applies, with flexible payment terms allowing customers to start immediately or from the following month.
Adding to SalamAir’s wider value-driven offers, the mOVemore programme complements the airline’s 12‑month interest‑free payment plan available to Bank Muscat cardholders.
Steven Allen, Chief Commercial Officer of SalamAir, said the product is designed to “enable our passengers to move more and save more”.
The launch supports SalamAir’s growth strategy as it continues to expand its footprint. The airline now serves 39 destinations across 18 countries, linking key Omani cities such as Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Duqm, Masirah and Khasab with major GCC hubs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
SalamAir recently welcomed its 15th aircraft and plans to grow its fleet to 25 by 2028, alongside establishing a new operational base in Salalah.
