Dubai-based airline brings interactive experience to the kingdom’s capital
Emirates, Dubai’s flag carrier, has opened its first Emirates World retail store in the GCC outside the UAE, selecting Riyadh in Saudi Arabia as its debut location for this concept in the region.
The new opening brings the global network of Emirates World stores to nine, following recent launches in Bangkok, Singapore and Cairo earlier this year.
Centrally located, the Riyadh venue offers travellers an interactive, digital-first experience showcasing the airline’s products and services, including the A380 Onboard Lounge and First-Class suites.
Visitors can consult with on-site travel experts for support with itineraries, bookings and related enquiries, alongside self-service kiosks for faster transactions.

"Saudi Arabia is one of Emirates’ most important markets, and Emirates World in Riyadh reflects our commitment to the Kingdom,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“This flagship store transforms how customers experience our brand, offering personalised service, a seamless booking process, and travel solutions design around their needs."
The opening of the Emirates World store aligns with Emirates’ broader strategy to strengthen customer engagement in Saudi Arabia, following recent service expansions in 2024.
These include the launch of a dedicated premium lounge in Jeddah and a Chauffeur-Drive service in Riyadh, marking the first time a regional Emirates destination offered such amenities.
The airline has been serving Saudi Arabia for more than three decades, operating 74 weekly flights to four cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Medina.
