Single-ticket itineraries to Yangon now available
Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, has partnered with Myanmar Airways International under a new Special Prorate Agreement to expand travel options to Asia from the GCC region.
Passengers can now book single-ticket itineraries between Jeddah or Madinah and Yangon, with connections via Dubai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
The move comes as Saudia targets expansion in Asia, particularly in the Southeast region. In early 2026, the airline also launched a codeshare with Air India, providing access to more than 25 destinations across the country via Mumbai and Delhi.

Saudia is also set to receive 12 new aircraft throughout 2026 as the carrier grows its fleet to reflect ongoing network expansion. The airline will have 161 planes by year-end, including the introduction of Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
For summer 2026, running between June and September, Saudia will operate flights to eight seasonal destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including in Oman, Türkiye, France, Greece, Egypt and Spain.
