Integration enables conversational search with live flight pricing and comparisons
Skyscanner has introduced flight search within ChatGPT, allowing travellers in the Middle East to search, compare and refine flight options through a conversational interface.
Users can install the Skyscanner app within ChatGPT and search using prompts such as “find me the cheapest flight to New York in December”, with results displaying live routes and pricing.
Users can adjust dates, destinations and airports through follow-up prompts, with results updating in real time.
The integration also brings Skyscanner’s flight comparison functionality into ChatGPT, enabling users to browse options without leaving the platform.

A spokesperson for Skyscanner said the move builds on its existing user base of 160 million monthly travellers and reflects wider changes in how users search for travel, with conversational interfaces increasingly replacing traditional booking flows.
The company is also expanding the use of AI across its platform, including conversational tools for hotel and car hire searches aimed at helping users make faster booking decisions.
Additional features include its ‘Football Flight Finder’, designed to help fans plan multi-city travel around major tournaments by identifying optimal routes and track fare changes as fixtures are announced.
