Anantara Ubud Bali Resort to launch 1 October 2024
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will open its second hotel on the Indonesian island of Bali later this year.
The Anantara Ubud Bali Resort is a tropical retreat next to the traditional hillside village of Banjar Puhu in Payangan north of Ubud, a three-hour drive from Bali’s international airport, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar.
Upon arrival at the reception, guests will be met with panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and Mount Agung.
There resort is home to 85 contemporary suites and pool villas, and 15 branded residences, influenced by Hindu and Javanese design elements, and decorated in calming neutral tones.
The ground-level suites place guests in the thick of the jungle, with branches overhead. On the upper floor, the suites have oversized bathtubs with views over the treetops and the soothing sounds of the stream below.
The one- and two-bedroom villas reflect the rich artisanal heritage of Ubud. At 105 square metres, the one-bedroom villas come with spacious living areas, outdoor terraces and private infinity-edge pools. The two-bedroom villas are 160 square metres and have larger private pools of 10-to-14 metres.
Restaurants will include Amerta, a modern eatery featuring open wood-fired cooking, and Kirana serving authentic Indonesian flavours and a lavish international breakfast buffet.
