Sébastien Garcia to oversee the DMC’s portfolio of services across the GCC
Arabian Adventures, the destination management arm of dnata Travel Group, has appointed industry veteran Sébastien Garcia as VP Destination Management, leading the DMC’s operations and services across the GCC.
Garcia succeeds Alaa Alkhatib, who has transitioned to dnata’s global headquarters.
In his new role, Garcia will oversee Arabian Adventures’ full portfolio of destination services, including its leisure and excursion businesses such as desert safaris, cultural tours, cruise handling and MICE operations.
Based in Dubai, he will be responsible for driving the UAE-headquartered company’s next phase of growth by enhancing customer experience, strengthening trade partnerships and expanding its footprint beyond the UAE and across regional markets.
With more than 25 years of travel industry experience, Garcia has headed destination management companies across the Caribbean and Latin America.
He previously held senior leadership roles at Meeting Point International and Go Vacation Dom Rep under the Dertour Group, overseeing operations, business development and transformation projects.

Known for combining industry expertise with a technology-focused mindset, Garcia is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence.
Commenting on the appointment, Sébastien Doussin, Senior Vice President – Global Travel Services & Destination Management at dnata, said Garcia brings “an integral combination of operational depth and strategic perspective” to Arabian Adventures, adding that his experience leading complex, multi-country destination businesses will support the company’s growth at a pivotal stage.
His appointment comes as Arabian Adventures advances its long-term strategy to consolidate its position in the GCC’s competitive destination management sector and deliver new products and experiences for international partners.
The company recently launched its latest annual trade catalogue, offering updated product details for travel partners across key markets.
The 2025/26 brochure includes upgraded desert safari products, with new elements such as premium dining, authentic encounters, immersive experiences, bespoke options and expanded transfer options for groups and FITs.
The latest catalogue also features an expanded selection of multilingual city tours throughout the emirates and covers bespoke touring extensions into Oman and the Maldives.
