Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai unveils features shaping the future of tourism
Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the Middle East’s leading tourism event, will sharpen its focus on ultra-luxury and travel technology at its 2026 edition.
Running at Dubai World Trade Centre from 4–7 May, ATM 2026 will debut two major additions: a dedicated Ultra Luxury Lounge for UHNW travellers and a co-located Travel Tech show spotlighting industry innovation.
Staged under the theme ’Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology,’ the event is designed to showcase the industry’s next chapter, one already taking shape in the Middle East.
According to the ATM Travel Trends Report 2025, Middle East travel spend is forecast to exceed US$350 billion by 2030, with inbound demand expanding at twice the global average, fuelled by luxury tourism, business events and transformative journeys.

The ATM Ultra Luxury Lounge will offer an exclusive meeting point for leading hospitality brands, private aviation firms, yachting operators and bespoke experience providers, catering to the world’s fast-growing market of ultra-high-net-worth travellers.
Meanwhile, ATM Travel Tech, which has expanded in response to rising exhibitor demand, will feature dedicated halls presenting the latest in AI-powered trip planning, immersive experiences, robotics, payments, cybersecurity and green technology.
There will also be a new Tech & Innovation Zone spotlighting AR and VR applications, alongside robotics and sustainable solutions.
Following its 2025 debut, IBTM @ ATM will return to serve the business events community, and the show’s programming will address how the industry can drive positive impact.
Commenting on ATM 2026, Exhibition Director Danielle Curtis said the next 10 years would be “crucial” for the industry, with factors such as climate change, digital advancements and evolving consumer expectations converging to create both challenges and opportunities.
“By showcasing how innovation can enhance the travel experience, improve efficiency and promote sustainability, ATM 2026 will prepare the global industry for what lies ahead while ensuring the Middle East remains at the forefront of this evolution.”
The World Economic Forum forecasts 30 billion trips per year by 2034, contributing US$16 trillion to global GDP, while the global travel tech market is expected to double from US$10 billion in 2024.
Last year’s ATM welcomed more than 55,000 industry professionals from 166 countries.
