Azamara reveals details of 2028 world cruise

Azamara Cruises has unveiled a 175-night world cruise for 2028 which will visit six continents, 40 countries and 91 ports. The voyage on Azamara Onward will feature 44 late nights and 24 overnights alongside a line-up of ’AzAmazing’ evenings and visits to more than 15 Unesco World Heritage Sites.

Billed as Azamara’s "most culturally immersive journey yet", the voyage departs from Miami on 5 January and concludes in Athens on 29 June. Fares start from £39,999 (AED195,860), spanning six months of discovery, complemented by premium inclusions and deeply immersive experiences.

The cruise is divided into 14 segments with the first stops in Aruba and Colombia in the Southern Caribbean and Latin America, before transiting the Panama Canal.

Passengers will then have the opportunity to visit Ecuador, Peru, Easter Island, Rapa Nui National Park, Pitcairn Island and then cross the Pacific to Tahiti, Bora Bora, New Zealand and Australia.

In Asia, there will be ports of call in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore before travelling across the Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka and later South Africa, Namibia, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Spain, the French Riviera, Italy, Sicily, Croatia, Greece and Turkey
