Bhutan’s flagship airline launches flights to Dubai

New twice-weekly service is discounted until 28 February 2025

Bhutan’s flagship airline Drukair is now operating a twice-weekly flight to Dubai via Delhi, offering Bhutanese travellers increased access to the UAE, and vice versa.

Flights from Bhutan’s Paro Airport (PBH) to Dubai International (DXB) will depart the UAE city on Tuesday and Saturday at 04:00. After the stopover in Delhi, the flight lands in Paro at 11:40 (local time).

The flights from Paro will depart on Monday and Friday at 08:00, reaching Delhi by 10:00, continuing on to DXB, arriving at 13:40 Bhutan Standard Time.

To inaugurate the route, Drukair is offering travellers a 20% fare discount with the promo code 'DUBAI20', valid until 28 February 2025.

“Launching services to Dubai is a proud moment for Drukair,” said Drukair’s Chief Executive Officer Tandi Wangchuk. “It reflects our expanding international presence and our dedication to connecting Bhutan to the world,”

This new route is expected to boost tourism in Bhutan, attracting visitors from and connecting via the Middle East, while increasing the number of Bhutanese visitors to the UAE.
